LAUNCHING OUR ONLINE VOTE-BY-MAIL REQUEST TOOL

Rep. Eskamani said: “We are investing in year-round organizing focused on voter registration, Vote-by-Mail requests, and getting out the vote in working class communities across Florida.”

[Orlando, FL - November 23, 2021] Today, Rep. Anna V. Eskamani announced that People Power For Florida launched a new online Vote-by-Mail request tool to help make voting as safe and easy as possible for all Floridians. Rep. Eskamani said, “launching our online Vote-by-Mail tool is absolutely a response to Republican lawmakers passing S.B. 90, which cut the length of time that a Vote-by-Mail request remained valid from two election cycles down to one.” 

Rep. Anna V. Eskamani founded People Power for Florida in 2017, but it relaunched in early 2021 to focus on voter registration. Since then, People Power for Florida has completed over 150 voter registration events and trained over 400 volunteers on Florida’s voter registration laws. Operations Director, Raymer Maguire, said, “we are year-round organizing to meet potential voters in their communities with messaging that always focuses on values and issues, not parties.”

Rep. Eskamani said, “voting by mail is safe and easy; we hope People Power for Florida’s online Vote-by-Mail request tool will help more Floridians conveniently vote from home.”

Florida voters can use People Power for Florida’s tool at www.peoplepowerforflorida.com/vote to request a Vote-by-mail ballot online or to request a paper Vote-by-Mail request form be mailed to their house.
