People Power for Florida Expands Team to Strengthen Grassroots Efforts Across the State
Orlando, FL — People Power for Florida, an organization dedicated to empowering communities, registering underrepresented Floridians to vote, and transforming the Sunshine State for the better, is thrilled to announce the expansion of its team with several key hires and initiatives aimed at boosting grassroots organizing efforts statewide.“We’re taking our mission to the next level with the addition of passionate and driven individuals who are ready to make a real impact,” said Representative Dr. Anna V. Eskamani, Founder of People Power for Florida. Juan continues to lead as Organizing Director, bringing passion and purpose to his work, while Andres joins as Deputy Organizing Director, forming a powerhouse duo that is already spearheading campus voter registration and volunteer training programs across Florida. In addition, longtime Team Anna alum Amelia has stepped into the role of Communications Coordinator. With her deep connection to the organization and creative expertise, Amelia is poised to amplify People Power for Florida’s message and engage even more Floridians online. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of a Brevard County donor, People Power for Florida is expanding its impact on Florida’s Space Coast. Michelle and Johnny are leading targeted voter registration efforts in the region, ensuring underrepresented voices are heard in this critical area. The team’s momentum doesn’t stop there. Familiar faces and seasoned leaders are rejoining the movement:
Larry, the phenomenal Phone Bank Coordinator, whose leadership continues to be vital.
Samantha, FSU Organizing Fellow, who brings unmatched energy to the movement.
Aneiby, Central Florida Organizing Fellow, whose passion is driving change in the region.
“We’re also looking to grow even further by hiring more Organizing Fellows, contingent on our budget,” Eskamani added.Last week, People Power for Florida hosted an electrifying virtual volunteer kickoff event with over 150 attendees ready to take action. This energy has already translated into boots-on-the-ground voter registration efforts and expanded organizing across campuses statewide.“Our work is only possible because of the support of passionate individuals who believe in this movement,” said Eskamani. “Every contribution fuels progress and allows us to expand our team to meet the challenges ahead. Now is not the time to give up—Florida’s future is brighter when we work together.”To support People Power for Florida’s efforts and help continue this momentum, visit [insert donation link].
